Colors of an autumn morning

Couldn’t get out of LA fast enough yesterday. Listened to this song by Beth Hart on the way out of town and again this morning:

I awoke to a beautiful morning, discovered to my delight that there are many aspen trees up here changing color. So I wandered among them and listened to the sound of the creek. It was the creek that finally got me.

Then I had one of the best-tasting breakfasts ever at a tiny little place at the end of the road at Sabrina Lake near Bishop, CA. The waitress was crabby to everyone there (all three co-workers and all four customers), and I could only smile.
