This is a view from a spot on the LA Crest Highway 2.

I’m listening to this song this morning.  It’s by Jackson Browne.  Say what you will about him – I can’t help it – I like his music.  Mostly the really old stuff.  It takes me back to the days when I first heard his music.  Late nights sitting in a dorm room being introduced to music by the best sort of friends at Andover.  It was long ago and far away, but those people and that place are a part of me still.  Music has a way of dong that – transporting us, you know?
