Misty Morning

So I was thinking about what to name this post/photo, and I thought of Misty Morning.  Then I realized that sounded familiar.  I remembered I have a magnet on my refrigerator that says this:

“a misty

morning

does not

signify

a cloudy

day”

proverb

Well of course it doesn’t.  Why would it?  Why do I have that on my fridge?  I don’t anymore.  It’s in the trash.

Misty usually makes me think more about possibility and promise than cloudiness.

At least it did early one recent morning when I saw these oak trees while driving over from the Central Coast of CA to interstate 5.
