More Spring Dogwoods

Published May 27, 2009

Since people seem to like the last one I decided to post another photo of the dogwoods.  It’s similar to the last one – also from Yosemite Valley.

Posts are a little sparce around here lately because I’m busy in the studio these days, but I plan to get outside asap.

And in case you are interested here is a more traditional shot of a dogwood blossom. In Yosemite they are interspersed with towering giants  – a variety of pines, firs, and sequoia.

Lovely. I really like the feeling of light and air in your dogwood shots. Traditional has its place (grin) but I like your take better.

Thanks Kelley. Good to know because I actually thought you might not like these too much; I seem to remember that you are not a fan of the fuzzy stuff.

Nice non-fuzzy one too – the delicate flowers against that big tree- good contrast.
