Yucca, #78

Published January 21, 2009

I noticed this yucca plant on a morning walk in Eaton Canyon a few days ago.  I am so impressed by the yucca plant – they always fascinate me.  A force of sheer determination that grows out of dust and rocks that turns out to be a strong and beautiful plant – it knows when to withdraw and wait for the water and sunshine.  Although it is pointy and prickly with some dangerously hard edges,  it also manages to be strong, soft and beautiful all at the same time.  A combination I can never seem to resist.

Order Yucca, #78 8.5 x 11 Print @ $20.00
